Can't reboot after v1.02 install

Hi all,
HELP!!! Downloaded new firmware v1.02, followed instructions to the letter, all works ok but when i reboot the tablet just hangs on the scroll logo page (i.e. doesn't even reach "welcome" splash screen). Please advise - can I roll it back to v1.01 or is it a faulty unit?

Scroll 7" tablet - bought in Maplins

can you access the recovery menu?( turn scroll off, hold down vol+ key then press power key. when you see a screen appear release the power key. ) if you can access the recovery menu you should be able to restore it.

If it doesnt, return it to maplins as faulty.

Yes I can get to the recovery menu, but have tried every option on that menu separately, as well as in various combinations (including several repeats of the full firmware update process using a newly downloaded update file just in case the 1st was corrupted).

Whatever I do I can't get past the Scroll logo screen since the first attempt to update firmware. Have posted issue with Storage Option support but not holding breath.

they should reply tomorrow mornin, if not give them a call, they are pretty helpfull, even though their firmware updates bugger things up for some people

Exactly the same thing has happened to mine, it just hangs on the logo page.
I only got it yesterday and everything was going really well until that point!
Any help would really be appreciated!

I agree but its probably the easy option (and faster if they replace it in store) I purchased mine from maplins online, called CS and told them it had a hardware issue - they gave me a returns number to send it back but i took it my local store and they replaced it on the spot.

I've just sent them an email to request an RMA, unfortunately I'm miles away from any Maplin stores.
I've also contacted Storage Options customer services to see what they can suggest.
