Hi All,

Well I got my scroll on saturday :D and knocked a wine glass on it last night and crakced the screen  . So my question is does anyone know where i could get another screen from? I have tried some google searches to no avail..... are there other brands of tablets that use the same hardware?

Thanks for your help.

John

I`ll sell you my bricked scroll for £60

All hardware is 100% working - I flashed a bad ROM to it and killed it lastnight

Contact SO themselves, they should have access to spare parts, if not, i'd go with the house insurance route.

Might be the best course of action John. Theres a thread on disassembly at viewtopic.php?f=27&t=434&hilit=disassembly

The only real tip I can give you is "take your time". Ive had mine apart twice, and the front screen is dodgy to get off, dont try and force it. I used a "Nokia opening tool" to get the screen off, I doubt you'll have one but it looks like a very stiff guitar plectrum with thinner edges
