Drop box issue

I Still have this dropbox problem where i Can view the files on the system but not download them.

I will raise a support ticket with dropbox however I tried to search for dropbox using the file system and it didnt find it???

its also not in the apps
/system/apps

Does dropbox need any special configuration for the scroll 777 wrx?

Yea you need to install the dropbox.apk on the scroll

Have you tried using Samba? When you run Samba on the scroll it shares your /nand/ through the wireless like any other drive/system on your network, allowing you to access it directly from your PC rather than uploading files to the dropbox online servers, wherever they are, and then downloading them to your Scroll.

Personally, I'd rather access my files on my LAN than through a 3rd party.
