Hi guys, new to Scrolls and new to the site, please be patient with me.
I have just purchased from Maplin the Android 2.1 scroll 7 inch for my daughter, she is 10. Having set up the system and got onto the internet I have just found out that Java is not compatible ?? you cannot access Youtube or any other website with clips or film is this correct or is there a way around it. The Android instruction manual advertises Youtube as a key feature !!
I have spoken with customer service at Maplin, they were not much use, told me that Java is not compatible or they think it is not compatible ?? is this correct, should I just go for a refund ??

Any help, advice would be great, my daughter will be gutted if she can't view her favorite sites.
Kind regards
Steve

Javascript should be able to be turned on in the browser settings if I remember rightly, and youtube wont work in browsers as flash is not compatible with android 2.1, but if you take a look in the apps draw there should be a youtube app, if not, check the guides section of this site for all the info you`ll need
