what order

hi i'm geting a scroll 7" tomorrow and wanted to know if this would be the best order to do these mod's.
1- root
2-Disable the phone APK's
3-clockwork recovery
4-replace build.prop

What does replacing build.prop do? I know I'm supposed to search but the words are too common.

There are different opinions on this subject..... there aren't many android viruses (virii?) about at the moment and given the fact that the ones that are only affect phones (autodiallers etc) its a grey area. Your scroll is incapable of dialling anything.
I personally prefer to be safe and use AVG droid security (free) there are others such as lookout which are pretty good.
