Links seem to be opening in the same window/tab, thus taking one away from the forum. Can you check if there is a setting to make links open in a new window/tab?

If there isn't an option in the admin panel for the board then in the code, add target="_blank" to where-ever it is building up the <a> tag.

Have tried to change this, can't see option in the board settings.
I'll keep looking for a board-wide fix though.
Will have to use Veng's solution listed above for now guys.

You may need to add HTML to the Link your are trying to open, In your link you add " target=_blank "

Example:
<a href="http://www.example.com" target="_blank">Link Name</a>

Just press the middle scroll wheel button on the mouse (Or designated middle click on touchpad) to click on the link, and it will always open in a new tab
