Is there a GPS that will plug into the USB?

This works on Linux.

Don't know if it could be made to work on Android though.

No, there's no bt hardware inside the scroll so SO have set bluetooth to disabled in the android OS.

So even if you plug USB bt hardware in or solder some onto the board you still wont have bt as it needs bluetooth set to enabled to work

The bluez / bt init scripts are on V1 firmware but not enabled. This would/should allow you to re-enable bluetooth in the OS. But you would still need drivers for the particular BT chipset / dongle you attach so would still be a mute point. Although finding a .so/.ko file that is compatible with a particular BT dongle shouldn't be too difficult, as yet you couldn't use any BT kit with the scroll.
