Warpedflash is probably better to answer but...

To test I had to reinstate the files, and didnt pay to much attention the order i renamed them BUT I DID NOT REBOOT UNTIL ALL HAD BEEN RENAMED.

However, i dont think you actually have to reinstate them, i only did to check that they were deleted

Warpedflash is best to confirm this though

Im making a new backup -

A question, How do I tell ClockworkMod the correct time and date ?

It is renaming all my backup folders the same

"2009-09-02.02.30.14"
"2009-09-02.02.30.24"
"2009-09-02.02.31.10"

dont know, but i changed th names of the folders manually and that didnt go well as the backup didnt work...dont understand why but the the recovery reported that there was an md5 sum error, so i just remeber which one i want on the list (not ideal but im sure somebody else knows the corrct way)

DO NOT CHANGE THEM MANUALLY AS THIS WENT VERY BADLY FOR ME!

I guessed it would not recognise them if they were renamed - I found a solution.

Move all backups to PC
Make new backup

Done :p

1. Youtube works
2. Miren Browser installed and working
3. 3 Files were named with .bak and .old extensions and are still there
4. Kindle was already installed - but still works

yea it only removes the files if they wre still .apk's :)
I could do with a copy of all 3 original files named .bak/.old is fine...
