Just been uninstalling some apps and notice that in the list of apps available to uninstall are:

com.android.mms
com.android.phone
com.android.providers.telephony


Are these part of the update.zip ?

Can I remove them ?

They are the 3 removed apk files. when we delete them from system all we are actually removing is the .exe equivalent not the other files that come with it. you can try removing them? I dont know what it will do lol probably just remove the remaining files.

Lol I still dont have my tablet yet XD
I will have a look over the next week or so

I removed those files and although I havent rebooted yet, it has not seemed to do anything bad lol

Im tempted to try the above link tonight

If I screw up the tablet with the above files, I will still be able to boot into clockworkmod and recover the backup right ?

As long as they dont ask you to flash a new version of recovery... if it does then dont just stick with the one you have

They say they put their own recovery.img in there too, but im just going with the two above files

Apparently, these lot are saying that the touchscreen config comes from:

/sys/class/input/input1/calc_class

But I only see the dir, so Ive pulled the full dir ... here goes
