Well the obvious way to tell if it worked is there is a new boot animation... that and checking build.prop...
you say the text was too fast to read when it scrolled past?... hmm...

would it make a huge difference that i have already changed the boot animation, bootanimation.zip as per a previous thread?

No different boot (korean android logo, landscape is the one i have changed it to taken from the previous thread, nothing different, though no youtube app

with the no youtube app - it was a problem when doing it manually as there was 3-4 places you needed to delete the YT files before installing the new one, not sure if this would be need to be done when running ur script.

data/dalvick-cache = data@app@com.google.android.youtube.apk@classes.dex

data/data = com.google.andorid.youtube

Guys, quick question ....

This setting: debug.sf.hw=1

Can I edit a file on my scroll, reboot, and see if the UI is better?

Or do I need to apply Zips and stuff?

I have a full Nandroid backup so can revert if needed!
