TV Catch up (not an App)

Hi to all the 2.3 Scroller's out there

Not sure if this will work but the site requires flash which I do not have on my 2.1. I did give it a go though

http://www.tvcatchup.com/

You will need to set up a user and password to get you logged on to the site. Once in you have access to 40 TV channels. I know you can watch the channels through the web browser so no App required. I am sure once the App is written for Android there will be more functionality. (not sure if it is coming to Android)

Let us know if it works, shame I will not be able to watch TV :(

Cheers
Andy

It works on my Scroll Excel, it's an excellent site for watching live TV, though when I tried it there was still the lip sync issue :(

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere but the Android app is available from their site (beta). It's perfect.

Welcome to the public beta test for the new TVCatchup Android Application

We have been private beta testing the application over many weeks and have fixed many bugs, so we would like to release the next version of the public beta test including Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
As there are so many different Android phones and tablets, we haven't been able to test the app on every combination and some lower end spec tablets will not be supported.

***IMPORTANT***

As this is a beta, there may still be one or two issues that need resolving - this is where you can help in giving us as much feedback on how the app works, any bugs, or suggestions for improvement as possible. Please report this in the feedback thread on our forums

Please download the Application from here and test it on your device. http://forums.tvcatchup.com/showthread. ... ndroid-App

Please remember that we need your feedback so please, if you can just take five minutes of your time to post some comments on the app it will help us enormously, even if you just want to say it works on my X device.

Thank you.

Tvcatchup works very well on my Excel with Suggsy's 4.0.4 rom through the stock browser.

However, I decided to give the Beta app another try as my first experience with it was not all that - but I am now very surprised.
There are absolutely no lip-sync issues and hardly any fuzzy pixilation on the fast action shots.
In fact it is so stable and clear that I assume they must be using HTML5 as ITV and BBC players can't get anywhere near the solid performance I am getting from the Tv catchup Beta app - at the moment.
