DoubleTwist works really well on the scroll and is a excellent alternative to the standard media player which comes with android. It is excellent for people who like me have iTunes music that you just wouldn't be able to play on the scroll normally. In a way DoubleTwist is the iTunes for android. Another great feature is airsync, which is synchronising the device over wifi, instead of connecting the device through USB.

The Only problem is that you can't download it from the scrolls market

However downloading onto and SD card is a way around this

Hi,

just installed, the UI is very nice, but I take it you can only use iTunes music, as my normal music files will not play, it says "sorry the music file no longer exists" even though it is there and can be played with the scrolls default player.

Yeah I use my iTunes collection, but you can import music outside of iTunes. I ahave music outside of itunes in doubletwist, just import it separately and it should work.

Have you installed doubletwist for your computer?

I have not installed doubletwist to pc (i am using mediamonkey on pc) so is the only why to use doubletwist on the scroll with other music is through importing from doubletwist on the pc to the scroll?

Yep, you install the program on your computer and then it imports all your music to your scroll!

I use DoubleTwist on my HTC Desire and it works brilliantly so installed on the Scroll. Synced music onto Scroll OK and I can play tracks with standard music app BUT when I go into DoubleTwist it cannot find any music at all!

I have uninstalled/reinstalled synced to internal storage and sdcard but nothing seems to help. I see that I have firmware V1.00 so not sure if this is stopping it from working?

Any help appreciated.

doubletwist may be looking for music on the internal "/nand" mount point. Try sticiking a music file in there and see if it finds it?

Yes if I move a music file to the /nand folder it finds it. Can I force it to look at the /sdcard folder instead?
