Email attachments

I'll probably regret asking, but if you don't ask....I received an email to my gmail account, which had three pdf files attached. I couldn't open them or even find them with explorer, nor could I find a way of saving them to a location.
Is this just me being dim, or is there some cunning method of doing this ?

I know it sounds daft, but I set up a gmail account when I first had the Scroll, and now I have a combined inbox with my default email account and the gmail account. Whichever I use, I can't see an option for the equivalent to Windows: 'Save attachments' ?

Brian, this is a long-standing issue with Android, I understand. I had the same issue with my Desire HD.

There is an app called Save My Attach which gives you the option to save from Gmail when you hit the Preview button.

Hope that helps.
