I tried the 140 density on my 8" Scroll and had the border around the lock screen. The 160 density version fixed it.
Is that due to screen size or just random?

Its because it uses a different pixel density. Its a personal preferance really hence there being 2 versions.

Did this change my android ID? I had copied my phone's ID to get the market working. Now it's broken again. (I also installed CWM and renamed the phone apks today.)

i've just run into an issue with the 160 lcd density build prop.

the issue was that when using an E-reader, the text alignment would align itself to the 140 density, and as a result, give weird formatting with pages overlapping.

the 140 build prop fixes this. everything is a bit more 'fisher-price' (ie, bigger icons, less screen real estate) but i have a perfectly functioning e reader again now.

oh dear i tried to replace build.prop but forgot to rename the new one to build.prop when i rebooted it was still named build.propv3-140 now get force close for everything inc launcher pro have to close and get a blank screen and cant get to root explorer
i have clockwork installed but accidentally booted into bootloader can i get out of that or have to wait for battery run down
HELP please!
EDIT! no worries i sorted it was hoping just to push the renamed build.prop to /system using ADB but couldn't manage to do it (any one know a good tutorial for ADB?). once the battery had drained managed to boot into recovery. reebooted looked unto /system using root explorer and 3 files were in there bulid.prop.old(original which i renamed) build .propv3-140(which i forgot to rename and caused this prob) and a new build.prop (looking at it it is warpedflashes 140version)i dont know if i pushed it unknowing from my pc or clockwork did it ???????? :?

Hey,

just a quick question...

Should my scroll be taking ages (5 mins+) to reboot after this??

The android loader is flashing really slowly.

I used this on my 7inch captive scroll that has android 2.3 and it put me in a bootloop.

Hi All,

Quite sure I am now holding a pretty, scroll excel paperweight, but thought I'd ask anyway.

I just followed the procedures above (doublechecking everything and thought I'd got it right) but I am now stuck in a boot loop.

Is there anything that can be done to resolve this???

Thanks for your time.
