hmm... For people who are having problems I should be getting my Scroll in a day or two so I can look a bit more into it then hopefully.

In the meantime I think the "Standard" Recovery is actually a community based one anyway! No "real" company will distribute updates as .zip files! Someone want to be brave and try just flashing my update.zip on the standard recovery?

No, I've not done anything more than root and your build prop. I will, but not at the experimental stage. I don't have the funds to replace should it brick.

Ill have another look at this later in the week. Good point about the charger being plugged in (mine wasnt) although I was under the impression the unit got 5v from the usb connection whilst connected to the pc.

Im too used to flashing mobile phones - I mostly use self-powered jigs that dont need the battery in to flash them. Not had my hands on an android phone yet, but i'm apparently being booked in a training course sometime in the next three months.

I'm getting too told to learn new tricks... Nokia S60 is bad enough!

@Warpedflash... I'm almost tempted but don't have a backup. :D

Employees are like mules. Some you stand in front of and coax them along with a carrot. Some you stand behind and kick them in the arse. The key to management is knowing which mules are which!

use the adb command to pull the original to the PC first so if you have any issues you can push it back

But the latest build.prop causes no issues with me, just makes things better ;)
