Have a look here, try amending the search between market.apk and vending.apk - Im sure you will find one that installs, Ive installed market apks from there before

Installing the USB drivers for the Scroll on win7 is problemattic as it says device already installed. I uninstalled and deleted the driver then tried to reinstall but when I browse to the driver directory it says Windows could not find the driver software for your device. (device listed as Android Eclair in device manager)

I have no idea what you guys are all doing wrong....

All you do is plug in the scroll to the PC, goto Device manager, right click the Scrolls driver that is not installed properly, press update driver, and do the following.













After that, choose "Android Composite ADB Device"

Done!

Just wanted to say thank you for working this out. Saved a lot of arguing in our house now that the better half has her birthday present working and can ebay at ease!

Just need the actual market app to install and a way of getting a 3G stick to work and it will be complete.....

if you can find and dowload launcherPro(free version) it comes with market app in the package the launcher is good as well up to 7 pages and resize your icons

Activity in app centre app is app not app respondapping but at least app download : ( :

I don't know if this helps, but my mrs downloaded some Marvel puzzle app from androidpit. This can check for updates, and when doing so, brought up the android market. From here, the she could download and install everything (including LauncherPro, which has a link to the market).
