If the shortcuts that are coming with LauncherPro are allowing access to the market - then download "Any Cut" search through the apps and make a new shortcut to the market

Now just have to find room on the Scroll for all these apps were downloading.
My Scroll is already full.

Android the end is near and though i face the final curtain, my Market has stopped working again after only a day or so.

If your market stopped working after a day, you didn't push the new ID correctly

Hi,

BIG thanks to all posters on this topic so far.
I just got a Scroll 7" running FW 1.02

I did all the steps re the Virtual Android device and so now I have a device ID I need to inject into my Scroll
I installed the USB drivers and the Scroll shows up in device manager
I made sure USB debugging was ticked on the Scroll

at command prompt I just do not get a list of attached Android devices

I am running WinXP Pro
Does anybody know where I am going wrong with this?

ps I also tried copying the adb files to \tools and running from there but same issue

ignore that last one, I opened my eyes and realised people has been saying WinXP is a no go, I got it working under Win7

so now I just need to install the market.
My Scroll came with an earlier FW and I updated it to 1.02 myself

Am I correct in thinking I need to do CWM as described here: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=127 in order to be able to install the Marketplace app?

I got it going with Xp using drivers from the sdk tools

you don't have to do CWM to get marketplace app working

once you get the market working use one of the third party app installers(App centre)or (slide me) to download an app called launcherPro this will come with a shortcut straight to market

Don't install CWM yet on a 1.02 firmware (unless I'm mistaken). It will not work and you will need to re-flash the recovery partition back to stock firmware.

Do not try to install CWM on 1.02 FW, it will bugger your entire life up and kill all your pets, also it will break the scroll.
