I have a question: what does everyone see when they run the market app?

The phone apks are the ones that enable the market place not the build.prop file

I've not renamed the files as Warped is trying to see if he can get it working without renaming the files. I only see free apps in the market and I have to search to see anything. Can you guys describe what you see on the screen when you start the market please?

Straight out the box without the phone apk's, the scroll only has access to the free apps.

To get the paid apps you havge to disable the phone apk's (this will also significantly increase battery life), unless warpedflash is successful in achieving this through build.prop as you have previously suggested

In terms of what I see, marketplace carousel, paid apps, free aps (including games) buty i have deleted the phon apk's

This is trying to get the market to work without the phone apks being deleted! It DOES NOT work yet! It says this in the first post if you read it!

The only way to get teh full market right now is deleting the phone.apk files!
I am working on an Update.zip to fix this! It should be done today/tomorrow so look out for it!

I understand that the Scroll only gets free apps m8. Warped is trying to figure out a way around that without renaming the files. I'm good with removing them, but don't really mind as I'll not be buying any apps (6 kids :P), but will do so for the performance increase at some point. Just helping Warped for now.

What I see is Apps, Games and My apps on the left and 'No matching content in Android Market' on the right. If I click on Apps, for example, I get a category list on the right (All applications, Books & Reference, Business, etc.) and if I click on one of them I get nothing. Just the green & white screen, nothing listed at all.

Too actually see ANY apps I have to do a search. I don't know what this carousel is people speak of.

in the green area of the market place, the carsousel consists of a picture of the apps that you can scroll through moving left and right -bit like "minority report", what you describe is basically what I saw straight out the box.

Yeah, thought as much, but wanted to be sure mine wasn't doing anything the others did out of the box. Thanks m8.
