Go to the Path listed and copy the system.img you downloaded earlier.

If you have followed the 'how to' correctly - you should have the new ID, the only part you need the USB drivers is when you need to connect the scroll to the pc to adb push the id to the scroll. Sorry i can not help with usb drivers with xp.

right at the end after loading the new id
ran command

Once you have pushed the new ID to the scroll, thats it done except for updating the market.zip and reboot

i downloaded pdanet(pc) to get the drivers for xp all went well connected to pc via usb but market still not working says there is no phone linked to this account????

thats what i'm thinking altohugh the command line did return; is there a short cut to push the new id as i copied it to notepad or do i have to run the emulator again(worried abot duplicate files in SDK)

Yes I have done this today. (all but the market.zip, as it looks like I don't need to do that at the moment)
