I have avasti which is free on my extreme. It seems to get good reviews.

Thanks for the info TC, I will not be getting that anti-virus app or any other as IMO they are a waste of money and/or system resources for Android devices that have no telephony hardware inside.

Nor will I Charlie, although I agree with you about not having telephone ability I have installed AVG mobile which sort of reasures me as it scans every app and download before it allows me to run it. Although I doubt any malware would cause me any personal problem, I like to see what software does get flashed up by antivirus to see who out there is trying it on so to speak.

By the way - is it just me or do all the W's in this post look faded? w w w w w

EDIT OOps looks like I might have monitor problems developing. :(
