To Get Hotmail Mails Received On Your Tab

Hi, heres the settings to get hotmail setup on your scroll 2.1

go to email icon,
it will ask you for your current email/password , put your full xxx@hotmail.com or .co.uk address but then click manual "setup"

then copy these settings into the relative boxes,


username: yourusername@hotmail.co.uk <- put all your email address and the .co.uk or .com
password: your password
pop3server: pop3.live.com

port : 995

security type :SSL
delete email from server :never

click next

outgoing settings

smtp server : smtp.live.com
port : 587
security type : TLS
click require sign-in
add your address and password once more at the bottom click finish AND YOUR DONE!!!

ive read on some websites claiming that its not possible to get hotmail received on 2.1.......well mine does and now yours will! i was fecking around for about an hour trying with different settings when i got this one to work!

That setup looks pretty similar to the Gmail or Sky email one (apart from the server addresses, of course!)
