Hey guys. I have a scroll extreme and love ICS.... wondered if there is any phone that is relatively quick and would be able to handle ICS within the £200 mark. Looking to sell my iphone 4 as its too restrictive and i HATE the way i have to sync to itunes every time i want to add some music... :|

a second hand HTC desire HD can be had for that money, custom ICS roms are available if you can live without video recording...that is until HTC release the true update to ICS later this year.

though imo spend alittle more and get the sensation ;-)

You can have my Desire HD at that price :) Its mint and is running ICS with a kernel that can push the CPU to 2ghz

Same as mojos ;) lol

That's all good but I used to have a desire hd and found the battery life quite bad! Is there any phone with similar price/spec with better battery life..?

One of the Orange own brand (ZTE) phones? Can't see a reason why they wouldn't run ICS.

The new orange San Diego with the new intel chip looks good. Around £200 I think. No ICS yet but it's supposed to be coming. Have a look at modaco.

hmm, not sure about orange phones. I'm currently on Tesco Mobile so assuming that sim would work with o2 locked phones. Also not sure about orange branding all over a phone even if I got it unlocked!

yea the stock HTC roms (including most Sense based roms) are quite poorly written, as long as your willing to flash, then you'll see a marked improvement (im not just talking about the DHD either ;-) )

That's odd because I've been reading up on some forums saying that after updating to 4.0.4 the battery life reduces quite a lot.
