Free apps from Amazon?

I doubt this will be news to many but perhaps there are some of you that don't know.
Some months ago, I installed the Amazon app store.apk but whenever I tried to download anything free it told me it was not licensed to operatre in my location.
I don't know if it works now because I changed my default language from English US to English UK or what, but the point being that now (I am running JB) it does allow me to download the free apps and there are hundreds of them to choose from including many of the old classics like:
Bubble Sort
Freecell
Solitaire
Mahjong
Angry birds
Just mention a few.
You do have to sort the wheat from the chaff but there are hundreds of free apps available along with thousands of paid ones too, and Amazon also give away their app of the day which I got as Evac HD which is a twist on Pac-Man.
You must have a working Amazon account you will need to authenticate the first time you use the app store.
Each free app download registers as a purchase and I ended up with 13 emails "re your Amazon purchase" all showing a purchase price 0f £00.00. Of course unless you buy ad free there are those annoying little pop-ups at the bottom of your games screen but what can you expect for free.
If you think this might be of interest to you then download the Amazon app here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html ... bol3hkif_b
