Anyone know if a dual core Scroll is due?

Postby MrLazy » July 19th, 2012, 9:00 pm

After my non-love affair with my Extreme due to it's speed, I'm going to upgrade. There are a few new 9.7 dual-core tablets around now below £190 so anyone know if Scroll have any plans for one as I have a buyer for mine.

Thanks.

With Storage Options you never can tell as they usually roll out new tablets quite regularly - as far as dual core processing goes then you could do a lot worse than look at the Nexus 7 although it is only 7" and has not got an SD slot.
If Storage Options stick to what is available in Shenzeng then we might see the next lot of tablets with an A13 allwinner processor which is a cutdown version of the A10 i.e. without HDMI
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

I am predicting that there will be a Dual Core version announced very soon using the new RK Dual core chipset with Quad core Mali graphics (similar to the spec Piers ordered).

Yes, there is always greener grass the other side of the fence but every time I cross over it looks greener where I was

Well sooner than expected I sold my Extreme last night for £135, was hoping for £150 but after seeing how prices have tumbled and specs increased I think I was lucky to get that. I have ordered the YuanDao N90 from Amazon. Looks like theres a lot of these dual core/quad graphics core clones around already.

Thanks to everyone that helped me over the last few months.
