im waiting for my scroll to be delivered i may just return it if its not what it says it is. about the market place does this not work then? i found this on the scroll web site

Due to licensing regulations and the varied performance of the Android Marketplace Application and affiliated third party applications running on the Storage Options Scroll, we regret we are no longer able to offer official support or advice for these items on our hardware.

As always here at Storage Options we remain committed to the support of the Android community, The Open Source Community and indeed the support of our Scroll hardware. We wish to openly make our users aware of our "Getting The Best From Your Scroll" web document, and the multitude of alternative marketplaces and application installers available on the web today.

so i clicked on "Getting The Best From Your Scroll"

oh i think i am understanding how it works

Android Gear

Android Gear is a website from which you can download a variety of great apps and games for Android devices.

You can download apps from www.androidgear.com to your computer and then copy them to your Scroll via USB. Then all you need to do is use the App Installer which comes with the Scroll do activate your new apps.

the scroll has its own installer?
Best regards brian.

ok thanks i thought i read somewhere you can, so you are limited to 2GB of apps? dont seem much the price you pay for the scroll what it is capable of there are other tabs out there with more for the money im not moaning just discussing :)

Please Note: due to licensing regulations with Android based mobile devices our Scroll product is able to access the official Android Market place but will not be able to purchase/download "paid" apps. Any Apps appearing on "Third Party" sites that are also primarily offered on the official Android market place will also not be available to the Scroll device.

so we are limited to some apps

There is a fix for that I believe. You'd need to talk to DJ_Steve or Warped.
