Support for Froyo

I've been doing a lot of browsing over the last couple of weeks regarding 2.2 on Scroll.

I noticed that Telechips website has all the source files for this hardware available for download - but only for 2.1, so it looks like there will probably never be "official" support for Froyo.

Anyone have more hopeful information ?

Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!

some people have had success with it, others have constant FCing. fw version seems to make no difference.
YMMV. when the next beta hits, decide if you want to help test it out *remembering it's a beta version*
altho maybe calling it an *Alpha* version is more accurate ;)
