Hey everyone, as of yesterday i managed to delete the Cell standby service and to try and stop the battery draining so fast. I have put it through tests now with out the cell standby and the device has managed 6hrs 32mins! Better than before, only managing just over 3hrs

Nice one - when you check in setting>about device>battery use - has the info for the 'cell standby' now completely gone?

I also didn't see Cell Standby when doing the "Plane mode then re-enable wifi" trick.

I think the device's performance has improved, it seems a slight bit quicker maybe because it has one less service to run

here's another quick update, I recharged my scroll earlier and it has been on 4hrs 22mins and the battery percentage is still 55%! Looks like this one could last 8hrs! will give another update when this charge runs out

This may be of little interest, but I charged my scroll yesterday evening after the apk mods were made, since then it has been running on battery in "standby mode" i.e. screen blank but device forced to stay on whilst I have been at work. Would this "time on" value be of any interest, as prior to the mods the battery in this standyby mode was, well, very limited, cira 2-3 hours even when not being "used".

I intend to fully recharge again when drained and then use the device for general web browsing etc to see how the times compare.
