Battery quickly drains when off

I've read on here where people lose a small percentage of battery power every day when their scroll is not in use. Well, losing 1% every day is better than losing the lot in one go!

The Scroll tablet I bought from ebay a few months back can be charged up, used for an hour in an evening, and be completely flat the next morning. The power drains constantly, whether it has been shutdown or not. It's rooted, de-phoned etc and re-ID'd for the Marketplace, so not sure what could be in use that's draining the battery.

The seller couldn't find the receipt that they had when they bought it, so I'm guessing they sold it on ebay as they couldn't return it for a refund or exchange.

Anyone any ideas what I can do? I'm giving an app called 'Spare Parts' a go, will post back with results.

if this doesn't do it, I think I'm stuffed, basically!

Quick update for anyone interested:

Got fed up with the device thinking it was charging when it isn't, battery software telling me different stories from the inbuilt battery readout, and the scroll being almost consistently attached to a wall socket...

I deleted a lot of applications, including battery management apps.
Have charged it up fully, unplugged it, then wiped the battery stats via clockwork mod again.
Rebooted, it now thinks it is still charging, but I will run it right down and recharge to see if it makes a difference.

Am considering contacting Storage Options to see what they have to say.
