mine is superuser-41 .apk
once installed open go to menu select update binary then close next time you use ES or terminal it will ask for permission
select yes thats it some root apps need superuser to work some dont

Yet again, you rock.
I didn't realise that I needed Super User, because I didn't have it on my Original firmware.
But this is great, as i can control now, what to give permission to.

it has got some faults all you did was download an app from the official market and it broke your tablet
but because android is open source we have the tools to get in and fix it
can you imagine doing the same on a locked down ipad it would be a return and fight for refund

Too right (my knuckles were white last night from holding on), we are all still learning from each other, but as a team we get it done, that is really what open source is about. Many minds are better than just 1.

WOW!
I just read this epic from start to finish and @Charlie and @Mitre are absolute heroes.
My Excel is now 3 weeks old, I have Super User installed and have had a good explore but I sure as hell am not going to change anything without "How To" guidance from these two fantastic people.

There are not many like you around these days.
