It is brilliant now. I have to be honest.
Have you left yours at 120 density suggsy?
Great little War Game is infuriating, but brilliant
Turn based strategy that reminds me of Battle Isle on the Amiga.
Sometimes when one of your soldiers gets killed. He shouts "you happy now? I'm dead" lol.
Well worth the money.

"Sentinel 3 Homeworld" may not be to everyone's taste as a strategy game but it works fine on a bog standard - out of the box Excel but you do need to turn off (don't dowload or uninstal) the HD graphics pack as although the game plays in HD, the graphics don't refresh properly between levels and you end up with a white screen background leaving you playing blind. You can see your player and armaments but not the screen background so you have no idea what the terrain is like. It runs fine without the HD pack installed but I find it kills my battery in about 3 hours. :)
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

I can confirm that Chainfire 3D works fine on ICS:-)
EGL driver of the pro version installed, and the Excel rebooted back as normal.
Tested a tegra game with it, and all looked great.
Very sharp with the LCD density left at 120.:-)

Directorybind works. But if you have restored it from a titanium backup you will need to simply redo the path for the external SD.
As this is different on ics.
Its identified as extsd instead of extern_SD.

Race of Champions on a unmodified Excel looks fantastic, but the audio is in go slow.
Just tested it on ICS, and the game runs fantastic, including sound.
And wait for it....It runs fullscreen, so no system bar.
Thankfully we have hard buttons.
So either my build.prop fixes it, or ICS does.

Just installed Temple Run and it works superbly on the excel. Really smooth graphics and the controls are very sensitive. Its a dream to play.

Cordy, Sleepy Jack & Inertia HD work great in ICS, and they all have joypad support :)

How is it? I have it on PC and thought it was amazing! I managed to clock up almost 400 hours of play for a £5 game o_o

Yeah thanks for mentioning Cordy.
Have a look I thought.
Then my granddaughter had a go.
She did the four free levels, and said is that it!
So I said that you had to pay for the full game. 27 levels plus extra bonus levels.
She replied, Is that all £1.49? Needless to say I ended up paying for the full version.
It reminds me of Little Big Planet. I'm just guessing there though, having never seen or played Little Big Planet, you understand:-?
@justb's fault.
