I now have the Tesco app showing once i add this file to /system/etc/permissions :

Think I know why with the new build.prop we still only get 85-90% of apps.
Looks like there are missing permissions in
/system/etc/permissions

almost there Charlie 
cant wait to get this on and open up the market
probalbly the easyest way for most would be just to rename the old one copy and paste from sd then check the permissions before reboot
it can be done from term or adb but anyway i am shure you will give a good how to!

Ok,
Now added handheld_core_hardware.xml
and have access to Note everything (which works because I side loaded from my phone a few days ago) but can now see that there is a update for it
- Also Slide It keyboard is there too.
Still more tweaks and then the 'How to' - I going to find doing the 'How to' harder

Yep I know what you mean.
Years ago this woman bought in an OLD PC when I was on a computer training scheme years ago. which didn't run native x86 code, and had an 8" floppy drive.
Me and the other guy that was working on it for her, had to suss out the finer details of her dinosaur, and then write a manual for her.
The computer bit was fine. Writing the manual was a bloody nightmare
