after searching around found a thread on XDA where Gumbald has done a cracking job at getting it working on unsupported devices found here
just wondering if anyone with a stock excel with stock recovery could unroot and get Gumbalds modded APK to work

Sky Go now works, well the News channel anyway.

Download the new SkyGo test apk and fully unroot with SuperSu

I used the SGS II build.prop aswell

Will test this wjen I get back don't forget you can only register 3 devices &change them once a month
No good when you flash new firmware lol
