Hi,
I now have the market Icon in the app drawer, not to sure how it got there, but I am pleased.
I have been using the new market, and today I have been moving some apps from data/app to system/app (no need to install them again, just reboot after the move - to get rid of any FC errors) one of the apps I moved was the market app.
Not sure if it has been there before today, only just seen it as I normally use the home screen short cut.

I've got the android market on my homescreen, and can download from the "Featured" apps, but when I click the search icon, and enter a word into the search box, when I then click "Go", the screen goes back to the previous page. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

My problem where it was crashing after typing in the search box, has now gone away, strange, not sure why I was having that problem, or how it's now working as it should be, I haven't done anything different, but it's running smoothly now, so I'm a happy bunny.

Sounds ridiculous but cant find applications in setting can anyone help!

That's very strange, if it definitely has gone completely then I imagine you may need to carry out a reset. You will possibly lose all your apps though if you do.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!
