:p
I just flashed the english one from your first post.
Everything went through fine etc.
Except it booted back, as if nothing had happened.
All my apps are there etc.
It did murder CWM, has I knew it would. But nothing else.
Any ideas? :)

I guess you chose "normal" upgrade option?
That would explain how it left your data partition intact ;)

Would it not be better to slow this development down a bit?

At this rate you guys are not going to be able to identify the cause of why some things work & others don't, etc. Just a thought. :)

Good point Charlie :)
I am personally beginning to frighten myself tbh :)
It wasn't so-long ago, I was busy bricking my Excel with stupid Busybox (or is that Busybody) :)
Here is a question for Charlie (the build.prop expert).
The dutch firmware had a GT-I9100 identifier.
The English one has a M701c.
Would the Samsung one be a better bet?
I made a copy of the build.prop before I flashed this one.

Not saying to stop it - just slow it down a bit - at the end of the day, you guys can do what you want, it was just a thought, just my thought. Do what you guys feel most comfortable with.

You have all done so well. Just sometimes, someone needs to say "rein in the horses" otherwise you might lose where you wanted to end up with this project. ;)

It might be better to start a separate thread for this.

I am not by any means a build.prop expert, just have a far bit of experience in this field.

I know what you mean, to be honest everything works as it should, so there shouldnt be any need for "fixes"

Charlie, is there any way you could do a NEW section on the forum regarding ICS as an example
"Scroll EXCEL - ICS 4.0.3" and then anything that people want to discuss can be talked about in there, rather than here, as it is getting kind of messy now.

Just a thought ;)

Good idea, but you will need to ask Stu (admin) to get that done, I would do it for you, but I don't have the access to do that change.

Just a fact ;)

Keep up the great work :D
