Regarding the SdCard issue, i have a test update for that, still working on it.

Try this

Download the attached, read the READ_ME.txt and follow the instructions.

Typical I just installed lots of apps ;)

What does the fix do? Just changes where the devices are mounted?

Yes.
It swaps the mount points, so ....
External SdCard is mounted as /sdcard
Internal Storage is mounted as /mnt/extsd

Just a quick fix.

If i was you mate, leave it as it is, anything you need to copy over to the sdcard do it with "file manager" app.

I've been noticing another problem, quite often the touch point is wrong. ie I touch an icon and the screen thinks I'm touching somewhere else. Originally I just thought it was unresponsive and touched it again which usually then works. I turned on the option to show a blob where you touch and its obviously getting the coordinates wrong. I hit the screen and I can see the blob 2 or 3 inches away.

Just wondered if anyone else is seeing that, or maybe I have a problem with my touch screen. I must admit I didn't have Gingerbread on it long enough to know if its a general problem with my tab.

@porkchop - The same does happen on the Excel with GB on rare occasions. How do you do as you said "I turned on the option to show a blob" - Is this a ICS only function?

So this could mean that it's a general hardware issue with tab, rather than the software, still to early to know for sure.

Yup, in Settings -> Developer options -> show touches makes a blob appear on the screen. If this problem exists in GB I suppose its more likely to be a hardware fault, then again I suppose it could be an error in the driver for the touchscreen which didn't get fixed between versions.

It doesn't happen that often, but when it does its irritating.

I noticed it also, maybe a calibration of the touch screen is needed?

@ Charlie
In the Developer settings for ICS there is a section called "User Interface"
You can choose numerous options including...
    Pointer location
    Show touches
    Show Screen updates
    Show CPU usage
    Force GPU rendering

Found an app on the market "Nook Screen Calibrator"
It seems to work for this.

I've got the Nook Calibrator app on there, I've been messing about with it for 10 minutes and it does seem improved, but its hard to tell because its inconsistent anyway. I do still get the ghost points. I'll keep on testing it though. Quite intrigued what that app actually does, might try and find out.

Have one question on ICS - it was the same on Gingerbread - I notice we still have the phone signal strength bars on the display so I am assuming that phone is still part of the image. This is a pain as I can use `Good for Enterprise' on Android to access my works emails - however it will not load as it still thinks its a phone and wants to activate over the mobile network rather than wireless.

Anybody any clues how to stop ICS on Excel thinking its a phone - and recognise its only a tablet?
