Hi guys - looking at putting on ICS but getting well frustrated with the Clockworkmod.

I am following the instructions and just get stuck on the adb shell /data/install-recovery.sh

The command comes out with the following:

adb server is out of date. killing ....
* daemon started successfully *
[: not found
mke2fs: not found
/data/install-recovery.sh: cannot open /data/recovery.cpio: no such file
rm failed for /date/recovery.cpio, No such file or directory

Busybox shows as v1.17.1 - grabbed from this site when the v1.18 gave same error

So well stuck - any help gratefully received

Quick update pushed the recovery.cpio file to /data/ again - this time I just get the error:
[: not found
mke2fs: not found
12522 blocks
when I try and rerun the install-recovery.sh

If I try the power and menu button just get the normal three options (power off, standby and cancel) I assume the `menu' button is the lower of the 3 on the front?

Use my script, its in the first post here.

If it looks like this, youve done it right.

Thanks for the quick reply - the output looks exactly as you have posted - but I cannot get into the options screen by pressing the power and `menu' key - all I get is the three options. I'm not missing some technique for pressing buttons am I? Is the Menu button the one on the from at the bottom with the three lines?

Still no joy - if I hold menu, then power the three options come up `power off, standby and cancel' then the device just powers off and nothing else. Not sure what steps I have missed as I followed the instructions methodically, probably summat daft like most problems are.

Ah well - will try again tomorrow - unless you can come up with some bright ideas.

Thanks again for your help and keep up the good work on this forum.

Brilliant - that works - may be worth saying that in the post - or make it clearer for thickies like me.
