Just a quick question, tried installing the youtube app, but this will not work for me, I can however watch youtube through a browser, anyone else have this issue?

@TC - Thanks for the .img's the bootloader.img is very similar to mine (I opened with 7zip - not sure it opens it properly tho') and you have a set of images in there in a "part0" folder and these are of a "3D Momo" - Mine has 2 folders "part0" & "part1" with the images for the yarvik boot animation, both bootloader.img's also have a desc.txt.

Think I will PM Suggsy as I don't know where this image is to change.

Umm, just tried it and all fine on dl of app, then to the 1st page of youtube where I selected a clip and the next page 1/2 loads and then youtube stops working. - Same issue as you then.

Hi Guys, I don't appear to be having any problem with YouTube other than what I sometimes get on my PC which playback-freeze and buffering. I have however, experienced several occasions now when I have left the tablet on and when I have picked it up half an hour or so later it has frozen and I have had to use a power button forced shutdown and re-boot.

@Charlie: My first experience of using Ubunto 10.10 running from disc to investigate the tablet, still can't find what you are looking for.

Yes Charlie I am using the app without any apparent problems as well. The only possible difference is that I restored my YouTube app from titanium backup, I didn't download it straight from Playstore. However, Google has not nagged me that it needs updating so I assume it is the latest. It is version 4.1.47


Edit: Just a thought, because of my general freezes I was experiencing I fixed permissions via CWM maybe this made a difference?

Ok cheers @TC - my youtube version is 4.2.16, I would say that it's an issue with this version for the 4.1 - Maybe upload your version for us to use, if you get a chance
