I have found something similar but a bit more tortuous for the scroll 7 inch capacitive. Doesnt work on my scroll 8 inch resistive but may work on other models.

browser

http://www.google.com/cloudprint/learn/apps.html

I then go to the Easy Print on Android Market tab and click

You are now in market and you can switch to search etc/

Dont know enough about Android to know why this works but it seems to.

PS Google Cloud print is great and worth a try

now it is showing in my devices as "Unknown Scroll Excel" looked at SoundHound paid app it shows as compatible with all my devices including my Scroll cm7 but not compatible with Scroll Excel ODD! other apps are compatible with excel and not some others
can download from market web site to scroll excel and it shows updates :)

It (ticking "Hidden google aplication") worked on my new Excell - Thanks!!
One thing - neither of my existing Google accpunts worked (they didn't have gmail emails), so I just created one.
I have now accessed both free and paid for apps in marketplace.

I found an easy way to get the New Android market on my Scroll Excel 3D. It's a bit lumpy. Not as smooth as the 'Green one' on my machine. Haven't tried paying for apps yet but it seems to work.

Play at your own risk. Link/easy tutorial below.

on resistive 7" 2.3

no need to turn on anything but might be a good idea to borrow an android phone to link your account to market first.

1. Search for "market" from home screen search click and open.

2. Longpress on home screen add shortcut and browse choose "market"

an icon will appear in your homescreen.

Alternatively you can add a widget from the homescreen :-)

I have 5 shortcuts on my homepage. Tried desperately to get the Google hidden marketplace on as a shortcut but kept getting a message "No more room on this homescreen". Any ideas?Have tried to delete one, but my Trash Can has disappeared. Am I being stupid?

@valspe - Hello and welcome to the Forum.

To remove an icon from the homescreen press and hold (longpress) the icon you wish to remove. You will see it grow larger and a waste bin appear at the bottom of the screen... drag the icon over the wastebin and release it when it turns red, it's deleted. You now have space to add another icon.

For info, the Android desktop is made up of 5 homescreens... drag right or left to see the others or longpress on the apps icon to choose the one you wish to view. You can also select different homescreens via the little white dots in the bottom left / right of each homescreen.

Hope this helps.
