Fix for No Calendar

Postby blueeagle69 » December 28th, 2011, 1:01 pm

I have successfully got the Google Calendar working on my Excel.
So after Googling for what seemed like and age, I found this.
Install them using Easy Installer (Scroll Apps).
Once this is done background sync kicks in. Lastly go to Calendar and select what Google Calender you want to use.
Hope this helps.

Glad you're calendars are now working. I was lost without my calendar.
The longest part was exporting my calendar from Nokia Ovid to Google.

Thanks blueeagle69. Calendars are now syncing fine for me after downloading and installing the apps in the zip file, I already had QuickSyncSettings app installed so I could manage what was synchronised.

Just need to look for an app to manage the contacts on the phone, and I am sorted.

No probes matey.

For Contacts I use Go Contact from the Market.
Supports syncing with Google too. Once installed, simply place a shortcut on your homescreen.

Then load this instead of your email client. Select your contact and hit the envelope icon to load your email client.
I send a lot of mail from my Excel so I needed contact support.

Hope this helps:-)

hi guys, still doesn't work for me.
have got the 'Accounts and Sync' settings working - although it only shows 'Gmail' as an option. But I cannot get the Calendar (or Contacts) to sync.
I have attempted to install the two files 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Google Contacts Sync' from the zip file using 'Scrol Apps', but after accepting to install, it comes back with the message 'Application not installed'.
I have noticed that the two apk files are version '2.3.3' and my Scroll Excel is version '2.3.4' would this make a difference do you think?
Is it possible to get hold of any updated Sync files?
Any help appreciated!
