Can I mount my JVC GR73 camera to my Excel 4.0 via the USB ports ?If I can is there a prog that allows download from cam / edit.Appreciate help

Providing you have the appropriate sized usb lead to connect both devices and also provided that the camera manufacturer supplied your camera with the compatible software then theoretically yes. In practice however, you may find it easier to connect both devices to a PC which you hopefully then can use for drag and drop. Failing this if you want photos on your tablet from your camera then perhaps an SD card reader you can fit to the tablet which will take the camera card or if you are lucky the camera and the tablet may have the same standard SD card reader, but I would be surprised on that one.

I am not aware of any specific software for your camera but if it exists the best starting place to try and get a download will be the camera manufacturers web page.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!
