Tell me what mods you want and ill see if i can do it, we already have a backup of the Extreme firmware, so no problems there.

Hiya,
So are you saying that the 'performance' problems with slow and locking browsers and the relentless keyboard lag I have been experiencing are purely down to an unstable Flash :?:
Your post refers to a recent flash update - i.e. a more recent version than that which is supplied out of the box with the Extreme. What flash version is the update and will this 'fix' the instability :?:

I have to say (as a complete Android, Tablet novice/newbie) it's odd that a factory reset sorts out the basic ICS browser problems, and just as odd that to run BBC Iplayer on the ICS browser that you have to set the browser mode to Xoom and not to Android :!: :!: :?:

Many thanks
Always said that I would never buy a tablet!

to Budgie

No if you like many other's have suffered a laggy keyboard and choppy browser experience then you need to contact Ebuyer presuming it's where you bought it from and organise an RMA the first scroll extreme I had, had the same issue's as you they replaced mine and the one I have now is near enough perfect.

To suggsy

mod's it would be nice to be able to try at least to play modern combat 3 unfortunately because of the identity of the tablet not being a supported one a lot of game's just don't play at all annoying thing is they advertise the scroll extreme as " play all your favourite games " .. well my fave android game happens to be mc3 and it sucks I cant even try it out on the tablet lol.. also what you think about firmware update's in the future as the new ics firmware is supposedly going to fix alot of the common ics issues

First post..

I'm expecting my Scroll Extreme anytime this week, after reading this thread I feel like I shouldn't even bother opening the package. But as someone else has pointed out, the more disgruntled customers are the ones who tend to post in forums. There are probably far many more satisfied customers who just go about their business and have no reason to post on forums. It is for the latter reason that I will persevere with my Scroll Extreme and see how things pan out.

Interested to know what people's experience of Youtube & iPlayer are.

I got my first Extreme replaced, and even though the replacement isn't perfect I've found both Youtube & iPlayer, via the stock browser and set to Honeycomb to work really well.

I have the latest version of Flash, which seems to have been updated since I returned my first one.
