go into system settings and about tablet.
If it isn't broken then don't try to fix it!

Hi Chris,

The Extreme comes with ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) 4.0(.3) i think lol. That was until suggsy89 got his revamped version up and running which improved the tablets performance no end. To check you can view your system version in the settings/system/about tablet screen and it will show you what your running.

Hope this helps

Hi Chris,

Yes that sounds exactly like the ICS we all know and love :) As for a comparison with the Archos??? There seems to be quite a range but the one i scanned over on the net said it was running Gingerbread 2.3 which i stuck on my HTC Desire and it runs a treat :geek: If you had a model number for the Archos i'm sure someone could take an educated guess on which was better?

Sorry I've not tried this either but if you look in thread http://scrolltabletforum.co.uk/site/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=2309 it is shown working and maybe one of the OP's could give guidance?
