HDMI

Postby ricky712 » April 9th, 2012, 1:58 pm

Just connected to my 50" tv. Looks mint though the cable was a bit temperemental. Dunno if the extreme connection is a bit loose/dicky.

Anyone experience this? Otherwise absolutely pukka.

Took a pic of my iPhone. Will try and work out how to upload.

How does the aspect ratio translate? IE The tablet is a 4:3 aspect ratio, is this stretched when connected to a 16:9 TV? It looks like this is the case from your photos, what effect does this have on video etc?

Thanks

Fairly sure it's able to output to the native resolution of the connected display, it would need to do so in order to get the "3D" feature it touts so often working.
(HTPC is the only thing you'll ever need to connect to a TV) ;)

Hi,

Is anyone with an Extreme able to confirm how the hdmi output works with regard to aspect ratios?

Thanks

It doesn't. Everything is stretched to (1.85:1), however using MX Player you can change the A/R which makes it work nicely.
