Before I started I check that the tablet appears to be working correctly. This one arrived with the QC sticker broken, as if it had been opened previously or repaired. I was fairly confident that there are no signs of the old problem.
Just a few hours later and this replacement is now showing EXACTLY the same fault as the old unit in EXACTLY the same location on the screen (right behind where the speaker is). I am now wondering if this is a common fault due to internal components not being correctly secured, or if there is a batch of affected batteries or something like that.
I am seriously regretting that I bought this thing. If I had not bought it from a shop that is apparently notorious for reacting violently when you try and get a refund I would have got my money back the first time around. I needed to use this weekend to get it set up for a job I had in mind for it, and now I am back to square one. It is not like I can even put up with the defect as the fault looks exactly like a migraine aura for me, and it induces nausea every time I see it.
Am I the only one having this problem with the Scroll Extreme II?
OH Dear, sounds like you need to strike whilst the iron is hot and send it back to SO letting them know that the seal was broken when you received it and that this unit has the same defect.
