I did manage to get the programme to run so thanks for that unfortunately i don't have a single .img file of a rom..... all my back up's are from CWM and one early one off of Livesuit but that contains the 9 'nand' files.

Oh well back to the drawingboard

ok, new image now compiled and nearly ready to take the next step..... Questions:

will the tablet still be rooted?
Will CWM have to be installed from play or a back up before CM10 can be flashed?

and finally is this the sequence of events to flash via livesuit:

1. Run Live Suit and select the IMG file you will be using to flash your tablet with
2. While still holding down the VOL+ press the POWER button at least 10 times
3. You should then hear the sounds your computer makes when a USB item is connected.
4. You will be promted to select a method of flashing your tablet, you may now release the VOL+ button

Ok that makes sense tbh, right then if i can successfully flash this muvva hubbard then i will venture onto adding other parts

small steps n all that

Hi Stu,
Glad you are making progress.Tablet is still rooted after flash.I reinstalled CWM from Terminal after flash.

Don`t forget to plug USB cable in between your 1. and 2. while holding the +vol key in.
Can`t answer question 3. I`ve never had the sound on, but I get visual notification USB connected.
The flash usually proceeds automatically on the livesuit I use. (v1.07)

Hey finkle,

On flash v2 as for some reason the edit to the file to increase the partition didn't work. The rom booted fine and i got the old balloon back again lol so ran imgrepacker again after redoing alterations, I may be asking how you use termnial to get cwm back on but first i need to run 'df' to check the sizes again 'fingers crossed'
