Seems to be working nicely, not trying to be a pain but any chance of getting rid of all the phone options in the next beta (if there is one)?

Cheers suggsy, also no one else has mentioned this but the remaining battery time is way off - I charged it earlier and then it told me that it had 99% remaining with 13s left. Yep, 13 seconds left.

Doesn't really matter but I have noticed the new ROMs do seems to drain battery faster, or at least that's what Android is telling me :P

Apreciate I can probaby find all this info on this site somewhere, but I'm bound to miss a crucial page, so a list of the links to read is really appreciaed.

So I'm likely to wait till you guys have tested the beta release, but anyone point me to some links of backround reading to get me up to speed on how to backup my factory build, what s/w tools I will need and how to go about installing this 4.0.4 build. Also, I assume most of the backup and flashing is done by connecting to a PC, if so what tools have to be installed on the PC etc....Told you I'm a muppet when it comes to technical stuff on these new fancy devices...

KL, if you have a look at the thread I started, think it's in the top 10 on the main page still. (I've never flashed a rom before yesterday!), it seemed to cover everything that got me to where I am.

Clockworkmod seems to be the major one. Suggsy I think it was posted a link where to get it, and also the drivers needed for the extreme for the pc, oh and Adb.

I couldn't get on with livesuite (just didn't understand it), so I uninstalled that.

Am sure someone with a lot more experience knowledge will correct me if I am wrong :D

in clockworkmod recovery go to advanced and youshouldbe able to wipe battery stats this may be causing the conflicting readings

Is that just a case of using andriod commander and removing/renaming the .apk?

well all went well apart from facebook keeps fc on me and the market wont let me dl monopoly.
iv also noticed the battery drain is very quick compared to the stock rom,i charged the tab to 100% 2 hours ago and now its down to 15% with very light use.
please dont think im moaning as im not as this rom is about a 1000% times better than the stock rom and i know it will only get better
