Hey. I have the latest cm9 rom and since then my extreme only charges to 99% and battery life seems much worse than before, in Suggsy's rom it seemed much better. It could just be me but there is defo a problem with charging maxing at 99% :(

Hi Jay,

I am on the latest one (maybe later?) I think it was Matt that linked me one with the G-Sensor fix, my tab charges to 100% and gaming and the gf was on it most of the night looking at clothes and it's barely under 50% remaining. Nothing wrong here I'm afraid.

EDIT: It was Matt, a couple posts back.

EDIT: Also, I don't know if this helps anyone but this is the procedure I've followed when flashing a new ROM. (accept the updates to CM9 recently).

'The correct procedure for doing a full wipe is below.

Go to clockwork mode recovery.

Volume up, power button, and home button all pressed together for a couple of seconds

Go to mounts and storage and select it.

Go to format / system and select it.
Scroll down to format system and select yes.

Go to format / data and select it
Scroll down to format data and select yes.

Go to format / cache and select it.
Scroll down to format cache and select yes.

That's it no need to format or wipe anything else, when you install the rom it will clear the dalvik, cache, and batt stats, just go back and install the rom from the internal or external sd card.

This is the correct way of doing a full wipe everything is erased and formatted ready for the new rom, no old system files, old kernel remnants etc....

Have a nice day.

Spider... '

As you can see, this is courtesy of Spider @ checkrom.com and I've yet to encounter any issues.

Ok so even with this cm9 Rom when I downloaded the latest Rom from Update Me I should have wiped everything? I thought the whole point of Update Me is that I don't have to format every time? :/

You don't have to wipe everything, just cache and dalvik, however I do wipe everything as I find it's not quite as stable.
Cheers,

everyone with a scroll extreme should be using the mediafire linked Rom I put on here to be fair along with the momo 11 compatibility fix,the g-sensor option works perfectly on the tab as it did with the stock firmware.
when upgrading using updateme from cm9 to a newer there there's absolutely no need to do a format or wipe, Christian himself has stated cache & dalvik only need to be formatted.

Update of Christian Troy's CM9 issued today... 20120615

http://www.androidfilehost.com/main/All ... 120615.zip

or Update Me app on CM9 devices :)

2012-06-15
* Do NOT flash "fix_mxc622x.zip"! It's already included
* added "gsensor special coordinate settings" menu entry that solves problems for some gsensor in some games (note that on mxc622x many games won't work because it has only 2 axis)
* added preliminary support for usb audio playback (thanks tsynik for the hint)
* updated kernel
* updated: cm9 sources

Regards,
nick

No at that point i was a bit scared i'd screwed the install and didn't want to compound the problem so i took it back to the previous FW (20120611)

Thanks for the heads up though peeps. I will try again now :)

Edit--------

Ok loaded all 3 files whilst in cwm, re-booted it and now we are cooking with gas again :)

Thanks again for the reminder
