Slight buzzing sound??

I've just sold my excel to part fund my extreme...my first impressions are good...but one think I've noticed that bothers me is that when you submit a command...I.e touch an app.........I can hear a very slight buzzing sound...almost like a hard drive.....but obviously it has flash memory....is this a fault? Or anyone else noticed this????

I've not noticed this with mine and I just started up a few apps with my ear next to it and couldn't hear anything. Does it do it with the volume turned right down on the speaker?

I'm thinking its a fault...as yes it does still make the noise with the sound down.....but if you insert earphones in the jack...obviously without wearing them..it stops...maybe a speaker problem???
Apart from that its great.....though I cant put up with it

Funny enough I hadn't noticed this until yesterday a moment before reading your article. I was trying to register to share this but couldn't as I was out and about on the tablet.

Anyway, my findings are more evident as the day went on and it seems that I only hear this buzzing noise when the on-screen keyboard is open and stops once it closes.

Not an expert, hence posting on here, but it makes me think that it is a software issue and not hardware. I'm guessing I should be able to find an alternate keyboard to download off the play site?

If anyone can confirm and replicate the buzzing with the keyboard and not with anything else, hopefully the techies can resolve this?

Mine makes the noise when completing any action.....not just when keyboard is up

Hmm do you want to give me an example or two of your actions and I will test, as I've only noticed with the keyboard.

Ok I managed a quiet moment and I can confirm that I get the buzzing from the speaker typing with the default android keyboard but nothing using the go keyboard. The go keyboard is not bad and very responsive but my personal preference is the default android keyboard.

Its not a loud buzz at all....but definately there in anything i do...i.e opening any app,using the keyboard and surfing the web if its updating the site..basically any function......it sounds like it has a hard drive with moving parts as opposed to flash memory if you know what i mean..
Ive logged it on storage options...but i will be calling ebuyer on tuesday...

Yeah I've noticed a few whirring (if that's a word) noises outside the keyboard, not every function though. Going to try and pinpoint it. Let us know how you get on.

I know its classed as a budget tablet but im not prepared to live with that so will be returning...i.never had any issues
with my excel....
Also out of interest ....has anyone done much streaming....mine works most of the time then everyonce in a while it will start juddering and sound distorts till i restart....as i said b4 i never had this issue wiyh the excel...
