Galaxy SII vs Extreme - both ICS

Hi

This week I have taken delivery of both my new Samsung Galaxy SII and Extreme Tablet, both are running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3, however there are lots more options on my Galaxy than the Extreme, for example Poewr saving options....on my Galaxy I can say if the power drops below 20% remaining instigate a load of changes like reduce screen brightness, turn off bluetooth, etc, etc to conserve power but these options are not on the Extreme.

I understand that manufacturers can customise their version of Android to fit their device, but there are options missing that would make sense to have on the tablet, and other options such as volume controls for calls and carrier optinos which have no use whatsoever as the tablet isn't a phone and doesn't have a simcard option for mobile data access.

Does anyone know how to get these options back, or are we stuck with what the manufacturer deems ok for the device?

From what I gather, the Extreme just contains the stock ICS. Anything extra would have been added by Samsung. I would imagine in most cases, any lack of functionality can be fulfilled with something downloaded from Android Market.

I'd guess that the ROM was built in a hurry, and that sort of customisation is going to take some time.

Hopefully SO will release updates to the ROM, but I guess there's little incentive for them to develop it further.
