Found the cause of random reboots

I had been using my Extreme for days now without a single crash or reboot. I then decided to upload Flash player to 11.1 (the latest) and since then it has rebooted twice and crashed once - all within the period of eight minutes.

Any ideas how to get back to the previous version of Flash?

Been using 11.1 with no issues.

hmm, no idea. Think this will be the last S.O. device I buy, 3 of them and each one has faults. Just uninstalled it and everything worked fine, the second I install it again it crashes. GRRRR.

I may be the only one with the Extreme to have this issue, but a quick google search shows me this is a widespread issue with ICS + Flash 11. Anyone have the apk for Flash 10? Everything was perfect with that.

I have to say this device is really the biggest POS I have ever used. My £65 was essential is more stable and flash works.

I would advise, if that is your true opinion, to send it back

Yep, think you're right there. After doing more testing the only thing I can find is that the issue really seems to be Flash 11.1 - 11.0 is fine so far. Why can't things work out of the box...

The S.O. guy said he had never heard of the issue and it seems I can't find any other Extreme owners who have. At first I thought it must be a software problem, but if everyone elses ones work fine then it must be hardware, although I can't see how. So confusing - wish they would provide a totally unaltered ICS rom with it instead of one they have botched together...they should hire you suggsy - I've seen your rom work and it's impressive!

Agreed.
ICS on my Excel is pretty fantastic IMO.

Right done more testing and it's 100% Flash 11.1 that is causing the issues. I don't know why but Flash 11.0 is fine, got all my apps installed again, no reboots, everything is fast, no crashes etc. 11.1 kills the tablet and makes it an expensive paperweight.

Maybe one of the developers might have an idea? Thought it worth asking. Does anyone know if there is something specific in the 11.1 update which changes the hardware needed over the 11.0 version?

Cheers
